About Nurse Fanning

Hi, I’m Nurse Fanning and I have been a Certified School Nurse (CSN) with the Chicago Public School District for the past three years. I primarily work with high schoolers;  However, I can work with children as young as Pre-K. I have been a nurse for the past 15 years, and my past experiences include working as a trauma nurse at Advocate Christ Medical Center. I graduated from Lewis University with a Bachelor of Arts (BA). After several years, I returned to school, obtained my Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN), and then completed my Bachelor of Science (BSN) from Grand Canyon University. Finally, I recently completed my Master’s in Health and Wellness from the American College of Education.

My Goal is to Promote

1) health and wellness, 2) the importance of living a sedentary lifestyle that does not include smoking, and 3) the awareness of the dangers of smoking and the benefits to quitting smoking.
